**DEVIN DOMINATING IN THE WATER**
This year Water Polo season was CRAZY!!! Having both a son on the high school team and a daughter on the junior high team made it a busy season. It was great watching Devin be one of the leaders on his team this year. He really has become a stronger player and a more dominate part of the team. It's wild to know what goes on under the water.....I don't know how they stay on top. You should see the scars on Devin's back, neck, arms, legs, etc.... There were a lot of new freshmen this year and what a great bunch of guys. They worked hard and brought their skill level up to the rest of the team. They had an awesome season!!!!
It was so fun watching Cherise learn the game from the pool and really work hard to be a team player. She found she was awesome at stealing the ball from the other team. She was willing to play any position and at one point she was asked to play goalie. She was a bit overwhelmed as she had not practiced at this position, but she did an awesome job. The team and coach were so proud of her. She had such a wonderful attitude, even when she couldn't play because her blood sugars were off. At awards, Cherise was awarded the highest honor, Character Counts, which is voted on by the coaches and the team. Everyone stood and cheered for her and she was shocked! She had a great time and can't wait until next season.
